Summary

As pasture renovation is a major cost to a grazing enterprise with an estimated average cost of $309 per ha, the importance of the success of the pasture establishing and persisting is critical in order to gain an economical benefit of pasture renovation. Through on farm trials the group will evaluate different methods of establishing new pastures, assessing the effectiveness of the different varieties, and management techniques and the economics of each option.
