Summary
This document is a final report presenting our understanding of how the concept of a Learning Community, based on a knowledge management approach, can support the work of the Scientific risk management panel to achieve its aims.
This paper is based on our understanding the Panel's operations with an emphasis on: What are the major tasks that the Panel is conducting?Who is performing the tasks?How are the tasks conducted?
As a result of this analysis we identify the role knowledge management can play in assisting the Panel's operation and explore how the Learning Community concept can assist the Panel's operations.
