Summary

The objectives of this project were to demonstrated successful methods for establishment and utilisation of a range of summer active pasture species and mixes in contrasting landscapes to fill summer-autumn feed gaps and reduce the incidence of weeds. And to promote the outcomes from the trials to surrounding producers with a view to encourage adoption of improved pasture systems in western Victoria.
The project encountered difficulties in collecting sufficient data for results and was terminated.
