Summary
This project reviewed the joint Meat and Livestock Australia / LiveCorp Live Export Research and Development Program to identify ways to improve its effectiveness and efficiency. The project comprised over 50 stakeholder interviews as well as a document review and an examination of similar R&D programs. The project showed that the live export R&D program generally operates effectively and is held in high regard by stakeholders. A series of recommendations were made to improve aspects of the program's structure, strategic planning, project management and communications.
