Summary
This project assisted the implementation of the Pasture Improvement, HRZ Grazing Systems and Weeds sub program, within the Southern Feedbase & Resource Management portfolio. By 30 June 2008 :
Managed the contracting and implementation of all available Pasture improvement funds (Pasture Improvement, HRZ Grazing Systems, Weeds) to ensure they are meeting milestones on time and are achieving overall project objectives, and developed new R&D projects for approval by MLA.
Updated Weeds sub project log frames with KPIs for 0708
Developed and implemented a '0708 project outputs plan' for assigned projects to support producers making changes on farm.
Finalised and implemented the weeds delivery strategy, including utilization of the contracted R&D project outputs where available, MLA products, 10 EDGEnetwork workshops delivered, operational links with the DAFF funded Defeating the Weeds Menace Program, and completed
Weed advisor training workshops 5. Developed project investment plans for 0809, in the assigned sub projects by October 2000.
Provided monthly updates to the MLA Manager on progress of projects within the portfolio and participate in Southern team meetings. The consultant supported the MLA project manager with implementation tasks of the portfolio to address annual KPIs.
