Summary
MLA R&D managers used an economic model developed by consultants to undertake benefit-cost analyses of RD&E applications submitted to MLA. These contracts cover the updating of base data within the model as each Agricultural census data are released (2001, 2006, 2011), refinements to the model and supporting documents based on user feedback, and training to MLA managers in the use of the updated model.
