Summary

This contract funded a consultant (in 2010) with a view to assess systems and processes for segmenting and profiling stakeholders for the purposes of targeted reporting, communication and engagement.
A key imperative for MLA is to monitor output and outcomes of its RD&E activities and comprehensively assess the value and impact for industry. MLA does not have any internal, efficient mechanism by which to provide meaningful follow-up to specific stakeholders, or track engagement behaviour to ensure we are meeting the needs of the broad range of industry stakeholders, and achieving adoption of R&D. Currently, LPI in particular relies on external evaluation companies to conduct a very broad analysis of these elements.
This project will analyse MLA's business requirements and map those requirements to various systems as possibilities by which to facilitate this segmentation and targeted delivery. It will explore the possible implementation and usage of these systems, to address the needs of LPI and the broader MLA operations.
