Summary
This Company Managed Activity (CMA) is to provide funding between July 2011 and April 2012, 6-7 modules will be developed in a Grazing BMP system to allow owners and operators of grazing properties to undertake a self assessment of their grazing operation against a set of industry standards. Key industry groups, state and federal agencies, catchment authorities and commercial entities will be invited to provide comments on the modules to ensure that they are widely endorsed as representative of the current industry practices. It is anticipated that 2-3 scientists from different climatic and grazing industries will review each module. In addition, a number of state agencies, catchment authorities, industry groups, commercial and community groups will be invited to review and endorse the modules.
