Summary
In order to bring the farm to the city and connect urban consumers with producers and the extensive RD&E portfolio of the industry a Virtual Farm was established on Sydney's Martin Place. At the Virtual Farm consumers could ask a question about sustainable cattle and sheep production directly to producers and be beamed onto a giant screen on the pedestrian mall. The event also featured live cattle and sheep and a farm display.
The output of the event was over 200 media clips, 200 Twitter mentions and 460 Facebook likes. A final report was developed by the PR agency of coverage and key learnings, however is not publicly available.
