Summary

LambEx was a joint initiative of producers, processors, wholesalers, retailers, researchers and service providers. It was a truly national event, attracting over 800 international speakers and passionate industry participants from all over Australia.
The two-day program included presentations and issues that are challenging, thought-provoking, innovative and inspiring, as well as food that celebrates all that is tasty and nutritious about lamb.
MLA was a principal sponsor of Lambex and plays an integral in the planning and delivery of LambEx, with several MLA staff appearing on the planning committee and the event program. A variety of MLA projects and programs were featured on the program, including ASBV’s, BreedWell Fed Well, MMfS, and various online tools and calculators.
MLA was also involved in concurrent breakfast seminars which focus on Sheep Genetics and pasture production.
