Online Publishing for Going into Goats - Rangelands Module

Summary

Through project B.GOA.0043: GiG Guide, an additional module for the Going into Goats: Profitable producers best practice guide (GiG Guide) was developed to address the specific production issues encountered by prospective and established rangeland goat producers. This project funded the trnasformation fo the module from Word format to an electronic format that is useable by producers on an interactive and practical basis. This also allowed for simple and cost effective options for updating the information. A series of yard designs were also drafted for inclusion in the module and relevant images sourced and incorporated to illustrate key points. The product of this project was a rangeland goat website housing all information pertinant to producers in rangeland environments: www.rangelandgoats.com.au This project also explored the potential to deliver the remainder of the GiG Guide into a similar format.
