Summary
Part one of this project has identified information gaps and areas for future market research that are required for developing a more detailed understanding of important trading relationships which will shape the future of the Australian dairy trade. Part two of this research identifies that Australia exports dairy cattle to a large number (15) of countries across the globe. These countries are diverse, each with its own unique culture, governance, climate and level of development. There are a plethora of commercial arrangements involved. This study assesses each of these markets from the point of view of a desktop study in Australia based on consultation with exporters and those who are familiar with the markets.
