Summary

The objective of this project was to identify whether there are opportunities for  the Australian industry to develop a cadetship program with international educational institutions. The Teys Australia International Research Internship Exchange Program (IRIEP) has been developed to broaden the company's professional horizons by facilitating the exchange of nominated talent between Teys Australia P/L and Texas Tech University in the USA.
This project is linked heavily with the objectives of increasing innovation capability as outlined in the Teys CISP and has been developed from a recommendation from the University of Queensland Business School's review of the stage 1 CISP to improve external linkages to increase open innovation.
