Summary
The Sheepmeat Council of Australia (SCA) is responsible for the development of a sector specific strategic plan that fits under the Meat Industry Strategic Plan (MISP4). The Sheep Industry Strategic Plan (SISP) provides direction, key priority areas, performance indicators of industry success, investments in RD&E and linkages to other industry plans for the period 2015 - 2020. This project enabled consultation with key stakeholders in the sheep meat industry to construct a plan that fulfils the requirements of SCA and acts as a communication centre-piece for all of the Australian sheep meat industry.
