Summary

The Australian Sheep & Wool Show is the most significant national marketplace for the sheep breeding industry occurs in July each year in the Victorian regional centre of Bendigo. Held under the auspices of the Australian Sheep Breeders’ Association, the Australian Sheep & Wool Show has evolved over 139 continuous years to become the key benchmarking event and showcase for industry innovation and excellence. Over 5,000 farmers attend the Show, including the nation's top 500 sheep breeders and 4,200 head of sheep. MLA is sponsoring the Breeders’ Dinner, the pinnacle social event for the Show to the value of $4,000, with an attendance of 150. MLA will have a representative speaker on the program.
