Summary

This project involved the consultant assisting the NLIS program team with technical assistance and stakeholder engagement around development, field testing and implementation of a national eNVD system by software integrators. This included the preparation, conduct, support and reporting of field trials, and a focus on accelerating commitment from high priority software integrators to participate in field trials.

In addition, the consultant also assisted the NLIS program team with a scaled, progressive soft-launch, as directed by SAFEMEAT/NLIS, including the roll-out of a an eNVD industry interface accessed via NLIS website. The consultant also assisted the NLIS program team to develop a framework and mechanisms to quantify, capture and report realised outcomes and benefits of the eNVD system to industry. This reporting system enabled MLA to evaluate success against performance criteria within MLA’s Annual Investment Plan (AIP) and Meat Industry Strategic Plan (MISP) 2020.
