Summary
MLA has covered the administrative costs (postage, printing, phone) of the Northern Pastoral Company Group (NPCG) , from 2006-2018, to facilitate regular communication between MLA's Northern Beef Program and members of the NPCG. This role has involved facilitating meetings, telephone hook-ups and email correspondence within the Northern Pastoral Group (NPG) and with external stakeholders including MLA, CCA, RMAC, research universities and private consultants. Issues have ranged from cattle genetics, reproduction, biosecurity, sustainability and carbon farming.
