Summary

The objective of this project was to make additions to the eNVD industry website and version 3 NLIS eNVD data APIs identified as necessary for the initial release, and then roll this system out for production use.
The high-level goals were:Develop PDF print API capabilities, with eNVD PDFs leveraging the existing templates used by LPA eDECs.Develop opt-in API capabilities, enabling processors, feedlots and saleyards to indicate to consignors that they would like to receive and accept eNVDs digitally, and that they do not require a printed version.Develop the following declarations for initial release: LPA Cattle NVD, LPA Sheep & Lamb NVD, LPA Goat NVD, LPA Bobby Calf NVD, LPA Cattle EUVD, MSA Declaration, NFAS Delivery Docket, NFAS EU GF HQB Docket, NFAS Form B, National Cattle Health Declaration, National Sheep Health Declaration, National Goat Health Declaration,.Update the eNVD industry website with the new PDF print and opt-in capabilities, and the all forms required for initial release.Integrate the eNVD industry website with the LPA and NLIS websites/credentials, ensuring that users may only create/submit declarations that they are accredited for.Outside initial release: Develop reporting capabilities for use by NLIS Ltd and specific industry stakeholders.
Product Vision Statement for the eNVD industry website:For the livestock vendor who would like to submit or retrieve their livestock consignment declaration information, the eNVD website is a web interface that offers a user-friendly and robust interface with access to all the latest and available electronic declaration forms that the livestock vendor is accredited for.Unlike commercially available interfaces and the LPA eDEC, the eNVD industry website is a free-to-use web application that offers livestock vendors a simple entry-level option to industry declarations, supports the commercial extension of mobile native solutions, and enables the phase-out of the LPA eDEC application.
These were all achieved as part of the project.
