eNVD Field Trials - LSAV/ALSA participation & support

Summary

This project involved Australian Livestock Saleyards Association (ALSA) supporting MLA with the planning & implementation of the eNVD field trial within the saleyard sector, and across multiple states (including but not limited to Victoria). This included providing MLA with recommendations to mitigate or remove any barriers to adoption of the eNVD system within the saleyard sector, as well as the coordination of demonstration sessions at saleyards.
 
Progress by commercial integrators to provide eNVD-enabled software to saleyards was significantly delayed due to a shift in focus of saleyard software integrators on the legislated Victorian sheep/goat EID changes. In light of the prolonged delay, it was mutually agreed between ALSA and MLA to bring the project to an early close, and revisit this partnership again once saleyard software integrators have caught up to speed.
