Summary
Innovation is about thinking differently and identifying unmet needs, applying new solutions to problems, and developing new ways of working. Innovation can encompass either a new technology, a new device, or an improved service, but ultimately it is about a change that makes a positive difference.
This project aimed to pilot an Innovation Scout program for a 6 month period to proactively manage Research & Development technologies and opportunities from the UK/Europe that could have significant benefit to the Australia red meat industry.
It aimed to design the process by which industry identifies opportunities for innovation from abroad in a structured approach in order to ensure that the right type of information is utilised so that industry can make timely and informed decisions when considering innovation partners and providers from Europe and the UK.
