Summary
The Livestock Export R&D Program is part of the broader MLA-LiveCorp joint LEP which also includes communication, issues management, trade development and market access activities. A review of the R&D program from 2009, 2012, 2015 & and then again in 2017 recommended that an independent technical member be appointed to the Live Export R&D Advisory Committee to add rigour to the project selection, design and monitoring process. This project is a continuation of this recommendation.
