Summary

This project enabled the provision of targeted technical support to assist with developing a modified version of the PayDirt Supported Learning Package (IP owned by MLA) that would be suitable for Queensland soil management and livestock management. Training resources that were developed included a producers manual, deliverers manual, monitoring & evaluation resources and accompanying powerpoint slides.

Objectives

The objectives for the project included:
1.    Assist with development producer manual for PayDirt as it relates to specified northern production systems
2.    Provide technical support and input for development of PGS Producer & Deliverer manuals.
3.    Provide technical input for development of associated slides, KASA and PGS resources.

Key findings

As this was development of training resources, no research was conducted.

Benefits to industry

Training resources have been developed for 'PayDirt - North' that will allow Queensland producers to improve their knowledge and skills in soil management in order to increase their pasture and red meat production.

Future research

As this project was focused on the development of training resources, no research was conducted.
