Summary

Market access is of strategic importance to the continued success of the Australian meat industry in China. Recent changes in international politics have significantly impacted the market and regulatory climate between Australia and China. The industry continues to face adverse market access conditions. 

MLA plays a critical role forging strategic relationships and engaging with important stakeholders to facilitate conversations and feed information back and forth between Australia and China. This program includes activities of market access conditions monitoring, in market information collection/reporting, and advocacy and engagement activities with key partners.

  • strong relationship with target partners
  • high value input and advice to the Australian government and peak industry councils as well as to MLA.
