Summary

Four workshops were identified by the Co-Innovation Manager network and developed in collaboration with MLA with a strong focus on the red meat industry. Relevant industry case studies from members of the Co-Innovation Manager network and MLA were presented during the whole day, in-person workshops.

Objectives

Develop content, plan and deliver up to four network meetings (digital and face-to-face) and conduct surveys of program performance to support MLA Co-Innovation Managers to succeed in their role.
The four workshops were identified by the Co-Innovation Manager network. They were developed in collaboration with MLA with a strong focus on the red meat industry. Relevant industry case studies from members of the Co-Innovation Manager network and MLA were presented during the whole day, in-person workshops.

Key findings

Capability building modules based on best practice process and content assist Co-Innovation Managers to succeed in their roles.

Benefits to industry

The Co-Innovation Program has delivered genuine value to individual companies and the industry overall. It was last evaluated in 2019–2020 and the report demonstrated the value of the program through outcomes in: professional development, collaborative innovation strategies, value chain innovation, customer alignment, innovation networks, and employee capability and mindset.

Re-engage consultants to identify and deliver new modules for FY25 program.
