Summary

MLA partnered with Dubai International Food Safety Conference (DIFSC) in November 2025. DIFSC is the Middle East's preeminent food safety conference for food safety industry professionals attracting over 1,500 attendees. MLA leverages the platform to introduce innovative and scientifically backed industry developments and research in relation to food safety and supply chain innovation and measures. Working with AMPC, DIFSC featured an Australian meat science professional as a conference speaker to present on technology advances in Australian meat processing. This was done in line with the conference theme, demonstrating Australia's commitment to red meat safety in important export markets such as MENA.

Objectives

The key objective of this project was to showcase Australia's red meat safety credentials through presenting science-based research at the premiere food safety conference in the Middle East region.
