BestWool / BestLamb and BetterBeef Networks Roadshow
The 2025 Roadshow Event Series builds on the success of the 2023 Roadshow event, which attracted 350+ beef and sheep producers and service providers, supported by MLA and AWI.
This year, we will deliver four events, across four locations, with four expert speakers, providing producers with practical strategies to improve profitability, efficiency, and resilience.
The confirmed speaker lineup includes:
* Cam Nicholson (Feedbase/Agronomy) – Optimizing pasture and cropping strategies.
* Jason Trompf (Farm Business Flexibility) – Managing volatile seasons and markets.
* Regional livestock veterinarians – Addressing animal health issues specific to each location.
With many Victorian regions experiencing drought, the Roadshow will focus on livestock production and feedbase management, helping producers make timely, informed decisions to protect cash flow and business viability.
Special Support for South-West Victoria: After 18 months of failed seasons, SW Victoria is receiving drought assistance. AgVic will deliver two Roadshow events in this region, where producers can attend free of charge, thanks to drought program funding.
