Young Farmers Gathering | TAS

The Tasmanian Farmers & Graziers Association (TFGA) ‘Young Farmers Gathering’ event will engage directly with young farmers. TFGA strives to have engagement with younger farmers and to increase broad understanding of what the TFGA does. 

The evening will include:

• The introduction from the TFGA CEO, John McKew, to participants
• An overview and discussion on the new TFGA Strategic Plan by the CEO
• Examples of key projects, policies, and outcomes from the CEO
• Opportunity to meet and chat with several TFGA staff
• Opportunity to network with fellow farmers in a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere
• Refreshments and finger food will also be available.

The evening is planned to last approximately two hours (with approximately 30 minutes for formalities) and is open to all young farmers (18-40 years of age or thereabouts) with TFGA members and non-members welcome.  Partners and children are also welcome.
