New eNVD app cutting through connectivity barriers

16 January 2023

Launched at the MLA Updates in Toowoomba, a new electronic National Vendor Declaration (eNVD) app from Integrity Systems Company (ISC) is helping to increase adoption of digital livestock consignments – even when there’s no mobile connectivity.

Until now, about 30% of all NVDs have been completed using the web-based eNVD system. However, with the launch of the app, users can enter data wherever and whenever they’re working with stock, ensuring greater efficiency for producers, transporters, saleyard, feedlot and processors.

How does the new eNVD app work?

Developed in consultation with industry, the app enables consignments to be transferred from one party to the next, even while offline or not in service. It enables consignment data to be transferred from one mobile device to another using QR codes, then syncs with the eNVD database when the producer and receiver are back in service.

The eNVD app is a faster, easier way to complete livestock consignments – including the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) NVD, MSA vendor declaration, national health declarations and National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme (NFAS) forms.

MSA users will be able to automatically fill out and add MSA Declarations to eNVDs, making it easier to ensure animals are eligible for MSA grading.
