Producer representatives sought for MLA Selection Committee

MLA is seeking applications from members to join the MLA Selection Committee. Three producer representatives are being sought - one cattle, one lot feeding and one sheepmeat representative - for three-year terms. All nominees will be put forward at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for a vote.

The Selection Committee calls for applications, reviews and interviews candidates, and reports on their suitability for election or re-election as MLA directors. Producer representatives receive a sitting fee in accordance with MLA policy, with travel expenses covered for attending meetings.
