Summary
This contract was for the services of a consultant to help plan and facilitate a major national consultation between MLA and the State Departments of Primary Industries. The purpose of the consultation process was to harmonise and ensure synergies in R&D activities between the State DPIs and MLA's on-farm R&D programs, leading to better integration and planning for the 2007/8 budget year in the R&D projects undertaken by the State DPIs and MLA's on-farm R&D program. It was anticipated that this would enable synergies and enhanced collaborations, not only between MLA and the State DPIs but also between the State DPIs.
