Summary

A sound understanding of what supplements cost and the estimated benefits being delivered must be calculated to ensure feeding is profitable. The Double B Beef Promotion Association aimed to move to a situation where nutritional assessment and action becomes second nature and part of day-to-day management strategy. They worked to understand alternative cost-benefit approaches and develop systems to capture and utilise feedback from customers and the Meat Standards Australia (MSA) program.
