Summary

To upgrade the site's wastewater treatment, including the tannery effluent to produce wastewater of a suitable quality to allow it to be used sustainably in the long term irrigation. The challenges are, incorporating the tannery effluent into the treatment system.
Coping with the ions content of same.
Finding a market for waste bio-solids from the aerobic treatment system. It is proposed to do this using Sequencing Batch Reactor technology to allow maximum flexibility of operation and robustness.
