Summary

This service contract with the Australian Genome Research Facility (AGRF) was for the storage of ovine blood, tissue and DNA samples; the extraction and purification of DNA and the distribution of DNA and other samples to third party service providers as directed. The maintenance of this resource is an essential service for the development and validation of a genotype database and ultimately the delivery of DNA based markers through genomic or enhanced EBVs for industry use. Samples may have also been re-purposed as required for biomarker discovery.
