Identifying knowledge gaps and research priorities to assist the live export industry to continually improve best practice

Summary

Nineteen projects were identified as being very high priority and were recommended for immediate consideration.   A larger number of possible projects (or areas that require attention) have been identified.  These are equally important to the industry over a slightly longer time frame.  Potentially, therefore, this study provides the industry with a reservoir of R&D ideas and proposals that could direct its R&D efforts over the next half decade.
