Project Proposal Review

Summary

This project supported MLA in selecting which of a number of fertilizer technology development projects to fund. The report provides an analysis of the likelihood that the body of research proposed will deliver a tangible outcome to the Australian grazing industries. The assessment is based on the limited amount of information provided in the brief preliminary concept proposals prepared by the project proponents. The assessments provided are largely based on the knowledge and professional experience of the author. In a number of instances, where there is clear relevance, reference is made to published studies. However, much of the assessment is made on a broad understanding of the subject area. For this reason a commentary is provided to detail the basis for each of the assessments.
