Summary
Objectives:
1. This project was funded by the federal Department of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries and developed a Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI) methodology based on research findings from the Reducing Emissions from Livestock Research Program relevant to reduction of emissions from intensively managed ruminant livestock using ration formulation.
2. This methodology was submitted to the Department of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries in 2012 but they considered it not to be prospective so it did not proceed to submission to the Domestic Offsets Integrity Committee.
