Production of technical DVD libraries - FutureBeef and Feedlot

Summary

Both FutureBeef and the MLA Feedlot programs aim to ensure the vast resource of existing technical information developed by participating partner agencies is made more accessible to beef producers, feedlotters, researchers and extension officers. These resources represent the outputs of past industry and Government investment over a considerable period. They include technical final reports, fact sheets, magazine and newsletter articles, webinars, short videos, producer profiles and case studies. A DVD product overcomes barriers many producers have accessing information these resources via the internet. The DVD products have a powerful full-text indexed search capability, have simple topic and format browsing and filtering functionality, contain a functional document viewer/reader and a user-friendly interface. The FutureBeef Technical Library is available in hard copy only and can be ordered online or by phone through MLA Publications. The Feedlot Technical Library is available in hard copy only and can be ordered through the MLA Brisbane office
