Summary
The purpose of this position was to contribute to the success of the national, Reducing Emissions from Livestock Research Program, by working with the Manager Environment, Sustainability & Climate Change and under the guidance of the Program Steering Committee and Science Advisory Panel to manage effectively and to a high standard the investment in research projects set out in the Agreement between MLA and the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries & ForestryOutputs included contribution to six monthly reports to twice yearly site visits with the Program Manager and contribution to the twice yearly Technical Workshops with all project teams and the National Needs and Gaps Report. Through active coordination and monitoring of scientific effort to promote high quality targeted research to meet the research priorities of government, MLA and partner organisations for the program.
