Summary
This Company Managed Activity (CMA) covers patent costs for PCT/AU2012/000784 System, Method and Device for Measuring a Gas in the Stomach of a Mammal and related applications. Lodged and jointly paid for by Meat & Livestock Australia Limited and Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial, Research Organization (CSIRO) and Australian Wool Innovation Limited. This IP protection was sought, whilst we built a intra-ruminal gas measuring device prototype and sought partnering interest. The tool is currently used as a research tool, to assess methane reducing technologies, however, is unlikely to be a commercial tool, thus the patent application was withdrawn.
