Summary

The Feedbase Investment Plan (FIP) was a $21M R&D program from 2013-2017 spanning the southern feedbase and involving various R&D organisations and producer groups. The FIP included a participatory research program involving 25 producer groups across southern Australia, working with researchers on fine-tuning and calibrating preliminary research results in various regions, to ensure fit with farming systems. A number of communication activities were instigated to keep track of producer results and enable broader communication of local group results across the years. This program supported various minor communication activities, including development of publications, layout and design, printing, couriering of material etc.
