Summary
These contracts cover the costs of MLAs genomic freedom to operate. MLA conducts a genetic freedom to operate (FTO), mapping over 300 cattle and sheep traits with gene patents of interest. Genetic patents identified under the FTO are utilised to inform research, industries commercialisation of genetic tools and identify potential collaborative partners.
