Summary

The MSA program has several standalone IT programs that are outside the general support commitment from the corporate MLA IT team. The consultant was responsible for providing ongoing support to existing MSA IT systems, including Self Assessment, End User and Producer training, Online ordering systems and SQL database servers linked to INFOSYS and INFOSYS.

Objectives

Maintenance:
Key outcomes of this contract are summarised as follows:
- Provision of second and third level local support role of infrastructure and applications, as required from corporate IT.
- Coordinate IT services with MLA IT team as required.
- Communicate and liaise with relevant parties internally and externally.
- Ensure MSA IT Manual documentation is current.
- Perform maintenance and updates where directed to existing systems including but not limited to SQL server data, MSA self-assessment tools, online ordering tools, and online training tools and INFOSYS.

Benefits to industry

This agreement ensured the continued integrity of MSA's internal and external software systems.
