Summary

The purpose of the Project is to update current Breeding EDGE materials including slides, workbook and manual to include outputs from the latest research on Repronomics and other related R&D supported by MLA.

Update Breeding EDGE modules one to nine to include the latest research on repronomics and other related R&D supported by MLA.

Benefits to industry

Breeding EDGE is a three-day workshop designed to assist producers improve and refine their breeder herd management adn genetic improvement plans. MLA are currently co-funding a five-year project to improve the evaluation of animals for a number of economically importnat performance traits, in particular female fertility. The outcomes of this research will be an important addition to the Breeding EDGE materials and will enhance the value of attending the workshop for northern beef producers.
