Summary
The electronic individual identification for sheep and goats will be implemented nationally starting 1 January 2025 by defining a minimum set of Standards for NLIS (Sheep & Goats). The purpose of this project was to coordinate the finalisation of the NLIS Sheep & Goat standards with Peak Industry Bodies and State Jurisdictions.
Objectives
