Summary
Three programs of work aligned to the MLA 2025 strategy and Red Meat 2030 are being implemented in Vietnam. These programs are focused on regulatory impact, business development and consumer transition. All of these programs have a focus on working with the Vietnamese Government and businesses where a strong language barrier exists and local expertise is required. The trade development manager in Vietnam is responsible for assisting the implementation of these programs of work and in addition to collect market insights and provide analysis to support decision making and strategy development. The LEP receives positive feedback from industry on the provision of up to date and accurate insights and the on-ground/indigenous language support is vital to the collection of these insights.
