Summary

While butchers are a strategically important channel for red meat, they face ongoing labour shortages, declines in apprenticeships, along with limited communications amongst the trade. To ensure trade confidence and success with red meat, we will regularly deliver inspirational and practical trade content to engage more butchers (beyond store owners) via dedicated communications (EDM, podcast, website, socials) supported by ambassador and sponsorship program.

Objectives

Leverage assistance of red meat ambassadors and industry partners to reinforce the fundamental skill sets of the butcher industry to help defend the butcher channel.
