Summary

FY25 membership of the Primary Industries Education Foundation Australia provided an extensive range of activities and support towards MLA's school education program that directly assisted the achievement of the program's KPIs. This included teacher engagement opportunities, promotion of the Australian Good Meat Education school resources through various channels, support to wider MLA school program initiatives such as participating in the Farm Days school excursion program, professional advisory services, the creation of new resources to complement the existing suite, participation in PIEFA-led campaigns such as Science Week and National Ag Day, along with professional development to enhance internal capability across MLA's school education program.

Objectives

Align MLA with a reputable national primary industries education body that ensures food and fibre education remains in the national curriculum.
Structure membership benefits to achieve schools and education program outcomes/KPIs.
