Summary

Red Meat Green Facts (RMGF) and Red Meat Health Facts (RMHF) booklets include short key facts for both industry participants and the community to have a better understanding of the red meat industry credentials on topics such as production, consumption, environment, animal welfare and the nutritional benefits of including red meat in a healthy diet. The booklets are distributed at both industry and community events, such as the Royal Shows. The Red Meat Green Facts and Health Facts are also promoted digitally via the Australian Good Meat website.

Objectives

Build awareness and understanding of the red meat industry amongst the community to improve perceptions and trust in the industry.
