Summary

MLA’s Australian Good Meat brand exists to engage and inform the community about the Australian red meat and livestock industry, with a focus on animal welfare, environmental management and the role of red meat in a healthy lifestyle.  

Royal Shows (The Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Ekka) are an effective platform for the Australian Good Meat brand to reach a large audience to showcase these topics. Additionally, it attracts levy payers and key industry stakeholders, allowing MLA to demonstrate how it is building community trust.

Show attendees can learn about Australian red meat production via the Paddock to Plate virtual reality experience.

Objectives

To inform the community about where their red meat comes from.
