Summary

This project involves the delivery of Pinion Advisory’s Pasture Principles supported learning project (SLP) to three groups of sheep and cattle producers in Southern Australia. The SLP will be delivered in accordance with the approved SLP and focus on the feedbase curriculum.

Objectives

- delivery of Pinion Advisory’s Pasture Principles SLP to three groups of sheep and cattle producers in Southern Australia
- delivery to commence in late June 2023 and conclude within twelve months for each SLP delivery
- each SLP delivery will take approximately 12 months to conclude.

Key findings

Due to the nature of the Profitable Grazing Systems (PGS) program, there were no key findings.

Benefits to industry

Profitable Grazing Systems' participating producers, on average, receive a return of $17.47/ha due to the adoption of management practices.

MLA action

MLA will continue to invest in the PGS program.

Future research

Due to the nature of the PGS program, no research was conducted and no further research is required.
